Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream
The Scharffen Berger Twitter Party that is!
Today was one of those days when I had a million things to do. A to-do list a mile long, and not enough hours to get it all done. I had to take Clay to the doctors first thing for a pre-op appointment (my poor baby needs tubes in his ears, and his adenoids out) and in between him waking up and going to the doctors, he got really sick. It was pitiful. There is nothing worse than when your children are sick. We spent the morning at the doctors office, instead of making our pilgrimage to Whole Foods, we went home with a script for antibiotics and an excuse to eat popsicles all day. Did I get anything done today? Nope, and that is okay. My baby needed his mommy. He wanted and needed me to snuggle and take care of him. So I put the to-do list away, and settled in for a day of Bubble Guppies and The Fresh Beat Band. That is what moms do. And we would not have it any other way, would we? Well, I could do without the Fresh Beats for awhile…

Yeah! Will you please have that baby already? I am dying to know what you are having!
Aww poor baby, I hope he feels better soon! My brother went through the same thing as a child…this is not easy on the mother as well so kudos to you for sweeping everything to the side and nurturing him when he needs it most. Your lineup looks fabulous…my mom would go bonkers over the chocolate so I’ll have to try one of these this Sunday.

Thanks Julia! This parenting thing is not for the weak of heart!
I can feel these cakes from my screen! They’re beautiful & lucrative. In one word artistic. I’ll go for that Chocolate Yogurt Cake. Specially to taste your peanut butter sauce.
Thanks for YUMS!!
