In some parts of the country, you have probably already had a few weekends at the beach.

I bet that most of us are panicking (it could be just me, I am sure that you are on it).

Smoothies have become a big part of our lives here in the Baked Bree household. They are the perfect breakfast, or afternoon snack. My husband drinks one every single morning after his run. It is filled with protein powder, milk, and lots of fruit. Dairy is a big part of our lives, my oldest son drinks an obscene amount of milk. We always joke that we should just get him his own cow.

1 (6-ounce) container vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup apple juice
2/3 cup frozen blueberries
a handful of ice

  5. My favorite dairy product is actually cheese… lately it’s been fat free feta cheese on homemade pizzas… i live in wisconsin and have enjoyed many dairy goodies and even MILK BATH products!

    I actually do like just plain skim milk, always have! But can’t currently eat carbs and milk has lots of natural sugars :(

    But not cheese! So bring it on :)

    My favorite dairy product by far would be cheese! Fresh mozzarella bruschetta or yummy blue cheese on a salad…. Makes me hungry just thinking about all the yummy cheeses!

    This would be a lovely gift. Like your son, I also drink an obscene amount of milk. As for smoothies, I used to make them all the time ~ it’s been years though. Now, I want one again! I never used ice, just plain yogurt, orange juice and berries. Yum, gotta have one now.

    Just started training for my first (sprint) triathlon – your smoothie recipes (esp. blue diamond berry – love when I can sneak some spinach into anything) have really come in handy… keep ’em comin’!
