I got home a few hours ago from the most fun, amazing, inspiring conference ever. I was honored to be a speaker at Mixed and seriously, I can’t wait for next year. I will write more about my experience later, I need to spend some QT with my little people, but it was the best weekend ever. I am so looking forward to what is to come and what new things are on the horizon for Baked Bree.
Today I am over at LoveFeastTable for their 3rd annual Cookie Exchange. I am sharing my recipe for Pecan Pie Bars. Such a delicious dessert, and easier to make than a pie.
Head over the LoveFeastTable and see their gorgeous new recipe book (it would make a great gift, but also something special to pass on to your children) and enter to win one for yourself. To win, head on over to LoveFeastTable, read the post, and come back here and leave a comment. I will select a winner on the December 6th, 2012. Now off to snuggle!

I am Bree. I love to cook. Even more than I love to take pictures.

Pecan pie is a favorite…and bars seem so much easier! Yum.
I love the Pewter Crosshatch journal cover. I need to vow to throw more dinner parties!
These look amazing! I love pecan pie and even more with the ease of a bar!

I’m drooling now! Those Pecan Pie Bars look soooooo yummy. Too bad my kids have nut allergies or I’d be whipping up a batch tonight. The journal is a great idea….I’m constantly writing down little tips and tidbits in random places then lose them. The Pewter Crosshatch has my vote!
Peacan pie has never really been a part of my family’s holiday gatherings, but I DO love pecan. Maybe I should make a new tradition…

Yes you should!
Funny thing, I like bars like these better than the pie too. But…. it needs some CHOCOOOLAAATEEEE. Lol. I’m a fiend. I like to sprinkle in some chocolate chunks.
I really enjoyed hearing you speak this past weekend! Can’t wait to hear about the trip from your perspective! Buying an IKEA island is top on my list, great to “roll the shot around” to get the perfect light!

I do not like chocolate with my pecan pie, but you could dip these into chocolate….
HELP!! Where is the actual recipe?? Your site is new to me, but SOOO MANY things sound DEVINE and right up my alley! I was able to pull up several of your other recipes (which I will try!!), but this one comes up blank no matter what I do. Any suggestions? PLEASE!!
Click on the links. It will send you there.
I love anything pecan pie. The fact that these are bite sized is a bonus.
