savory sweet chocolate chip cookies recipeYesterday I made my cookies for Week 2 of 12 Weeks of Christmas Treats and they were so bad that I had to throw them away. #pinterestfail. Seriously, in good conscious, I could not share them with you. Instead, I am going to share with you one of the best cookie recipes I have ever made. I wish that I could take credit for this piece of chocolate chip cookie heaven, but I cannot. All of the credit goes to Alice Currah of Savory Sweet Life. This cookies are the perfect texture, the right amount of chewy and crispy. They are sweet and salty, which is my favorite combination in the world. I used to think that I make the best chocolate chip cookie in the world (and they are really good, and really fast, so don’t skip them completely) but there is a new sheriff in town.

I have made these many, many times since I discovered them in Alice’s gorgeous book, and so will you.
