Since moving to Cape Cod last summer, I have felt pulled to reopen my photography business. I don’t know if you know this, but I had a portrait studio for many years before this blog was born. Bree Hester Photography specialized in families, and took a limited number of weddings per year. I loved my business. I loved spending time with people on some of the most joyous days of their lives. It was an honor and a privilege.
I have missed this interaction, and this creative part of my life. I love this blog and it isn’t going anywhere, but it can feel a little one sided sometimes. I miss people.
I have decided to re-open my business, and I am thrilled to be doing what I love again. I’ve never stopped taking pictures, but I did stop doing client work. I feel inspired all over again, and I am so happy to be able to share it with you.
I am doing things differently this time around. I have three kids and I know how stressful family photos can be. I want everything about the process to be simple. Simple scheduling (you can do it online), simple packages (all digital plus a la carte prints), simple payments. The sessions are designed to be short and sweet. Everything about the process is fun and easy. Just like how I want my family photo sessions to be.
If you know anyone looking for a Cape Cod family photographer, I would absolutely be grateful if you passed my name along to them. I do travel around the country, and am willing to go just about anywhere. (If you are interested in that, shoot me a message and I’ll tell you all about it.)

Here is some recent work from the spring.
