It is hard to believe that this cherubic little face can be such a handful. But she is. Believe me, she is.
Sometimes I am a little jealous of her. She has sass and spunk that I have never had in my life. When she doesn’t want to do something, she will not do it. I am a people pleaser. You want to me to do something for you that I don’t really want to do? Of course, if you will be pleased, I am more than happy to do it for you. Not this girl.
This little girl thought that it would be fun to play with 18 organic eggs this afternoon while her brother and I were asleep. Clay and I are feeling terrible so we went to take a nap. Aves decided to see what she could do with 18 eggs. She cracked them. All over the place. She “boiled” them somehow using warm water. Gross. She threw them away in the recycling bin and missed. I spent my afternoon cleaning out trash cans and cleaning up after her little cooking adventure. The thing that amazed me is that she made no apology for it. She felt like playing with eggs and God Lord, she was going to do it. She knew that she was going to get in trouble. She told me that she just couldn’t help herself. Sadly, I believe her.
And then she looks like this. Adorable. Thank you Miss Corey and Miss Erin for the adorable headband. Here she is channeling Blair Waldorf for you.
