Make Ahead Pancakes

make ahead pancakesToday I am over at The Creative Mama and we are having Make Ahead Pancakes for breakfast this weekend. Thin and delicate pancakes topped with sliced strawberries and pure maple syrup. Yum. The best part? You can make this breakfast half asleep. I speak from experience.

    • I would make some buttermilk using lemon juice or white vinegar. Add a teaspoon or so per cup of milk and let it sit for a few minutes. It will curdle like buttermilk. In recipes like these, it really adds to the texture and the flavor.
