Whew. Between moving and writing my e-book, life has been BUSY. In the very best possible way. If you get my monthly newsletter, than you know that I am currently working on my first e-book project. As I sure you are tired of my talking about by now, we moved to Cape Cod. We are so happy here and loving this beautiful place. A few times a week we head to the beach to throw rocks or just play until it gets dark. These little trips are becoming my favorite parts of the week. I usually only take pictures of my family these days with my iPhone and decided to bring along my big camera. I am so happy that I did. One thing that I have learned about myself if that I need to live a creative life. When I am not creative, I am not happy. These pictures remind me that I need to push myself as an artist and take more personal photos.


I made these Mini Cheesecake Cupcakes for Gold Bold With Butter and loved how they turned out. I have made them a few times since and they are quite popular with everyone that eats them.     Instead of making a graham cracker crust, I have used 1 vanilla wafer in the bottom of each mini cupcake liner. They fit perfectly and are so quick and easy.

      You can do that, but I really like the graham cracker better. I think the little bit of cinnamon is worth the effort of making a crust.

    Hi Bree- my mother makes these as well. One mini cheesecake is just not enough, being that they are so light. Enjoy the Cape! We are looking forward to our time there is October.

    Welcome to MA! My husband and I were just down the Cape last week. We stayed in Falmouth. When he was off at his conference I found some wonderful places to eat in the downtown area. A fabulous French bakery (great bread and other goodies), a great Italian restaurant (La Cucina Sul Mare, we had dinner there and met the owners who were so friendly) and I had a delicious lunch at The Pickle Jar. Best of luck in your new home.
