Preheat oven to 350° F. Butter or spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Rinse and pat berries dry and set aside.
Make the topping by combining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
Add sugar, self-rising flour, and salt to a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Add milk and combine. Pour in melted butter and whisk until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Distribute berries evenly over the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon crunch topping over the entire surface of the cobbler, using all of the mixture.
Bake for 1 hour and then let stand 15 minutes before serving.
