Ingredients
  

The Berry Base:

  • 2 cups fresh mixed berries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup butter melted

The Cinnamon Crunch Topping:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Butter or spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Rinse and pat berries dry and set aside.
  • Make the topping by combining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Add sugar, self-rising flour, and salt to a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Add milk and combine. Pour in melted butter and whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Distribute berries evenly over the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon crunch topping over the entire surface of the cobbler, using all of the mixture.
  • Bake for 1 hour and then let stand 15 minutes before serving.
