Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 24 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
