Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter or pan drippings
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups broth beef, chicken, or turkey
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter or add pan drippings to a large saucepan over medium heat.
