Ingredients
  

  • 32 ounces frozen shredded hash browns thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 10.25 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.

  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
