Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds russet potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Instructions
 

  • Begin by boiling the peeled and chopped potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
