Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup unsulfured molasses
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.

  • Beat in the egg, then stir in the molasses, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
