Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a standard size loaf pan.
  • Using a mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
