Treat yourself and your friends to this Oreo Pie, a creamy, crunchy crowd-pleaser everyone will adore.
I like to keep this dessert in my back pocket. Figuratively, of course. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten the date of the school bake-off or flaked on the church potluck. Oreo Pie to the rescue! This super easy-to-make dessert is also super delicious. I always have people ask me for the recipe, and depending upon my mood, I sometimes demure, wanting them to think I slaved in the kitchen to prepare it. But the truth is this recipe is foolproof and delightfully simple.
If you have some Oreos left over (and you haven’t snacked too much), you might consider another cookie dessert: Oreo Balls. Or you could make a cookie-themed buffet with some Spiced Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. Just don’t forget a dollop of this fantastic Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
Why You Will Love This Recipe
It doesn’t get any easier than this dessert: all you need is three items and you’re ready to prepare a delicious treat! Plus, you can’t go wrong with Oreos!
Ingredients
- 2 standard-sized packs (14.3oz) Oreos
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 4 TBSP butter (melted)
How to Make – The Steps
Step 1: Take one package of Oreos and place the cookies in a food processor. Pulse until the Oreos become a fine crumb texture. Next, add melted butter to the crumb mixture and blend again.
Step 2: Transfer the Oreo and butter crumb mixture into a pie dish, making sure to evenly spread it along the bottom and up the sides to create a pie crust. Use a spoon to compact the mixture. Let the dish rest in the fridge for approximately 30 minutes to allow it to set.
Step 3: Whip the cream with an electric mixer until it forms stiff peaks. Take out about 1 cup and place it into a piping bag to decorate the top.
Step 4: Place the second package of Oreos into the food processor, but keep a few whole Oreos for decorating the top. Blend the remaining Oreos into a crumb, then mix it with whipped cream and mix thoroughly.
Step 5: Gently pour the cream and Oreo mixture into the set pie crust. Spread it out and decorate it with the whipped cream in the piping bag and a few Oreo crumbs or whole Oreos.
Tips & Tricks for a Perfect Oreo Pie
- Make sure you coat the crumbs with the melted butter and really push the mixture into the bottom and sides of your pie dish.

Serving Suggestions
Oreo Pie doesn’t need a lot of flourish to please. It’s delicious on its own. But you can always add some pizazz with a drizzle of warm caramel or chocolate fudge sauce or a dusting of cocoa powder.
Make Ahead and How to Store
This dessert is a planner’s dream. You can make it a day ahead, pop it in the fridge, and let it chill overnight. For any leftover slices, just cover the pie and stick it back in the fridge, where it’ll last for about a week—if someone else doesn’t eat it. You can serve chilled or at room temperature.
